Introducing a case of a Brody disk adopted for bridge measures against crushed products.
This is a bridge prevention solution for crushed film that has been pulverized into small pieces. Since it was a relatively small hopper, we were able to solve the customer's problem by installing a total of two standard Brody Disks (BD-15S-W type), one on each side. [Overview] ■ Hopper dimensions: 450×450 ■ Discharge section: 100×150 ■ Material: Fluff = film crushing product (1mm x 1mm or smaller) The "Brody Disk," a bridge breaker that uses air injection along the hopper walls and vibration from rubber disks, is an easy-to-install and low-cost device. In most cases, it has resolved bridging and rat holes more easily than the customer expected.
